Senior Biomedical Engineer

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing biomedical equipment - Training users on equipment operation - Ensuring safe operations of the equipment - Approving new equipment through tests and modifications - Establishing, adjusting, and testing the performance of new equipment - Maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshooting malfunctions - Coordinating special equipment service and evaluating service contracts - Directing biomedical equipment operation, providing demonstrations, and instructing healthcare staff - Evaluating proposed equipment, conducting tests, and making improvements for better performance - Managing supplies inventory, ordering, and verifying receipt of supplies - Preparing biomedical reports by analyzing information and trends - Maintaining patient confidentiality and a safe working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending procedures, and complying with codes In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also maintain a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending procedures, and training medical and healthcare personnel to comply with codes.
