Senior Bim Modeler - MEP

• BIM Model Development:

  Create, manage, and update detailed 3D MEP models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) according to project specifications and industry standards.

• Coordination:

  Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems and resolve clashes through proactive coordination.

• Quality Assurance:

  Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements; implement quality control measures to enhance model integrity.

• Technical Support:

  Provide guidance and support to junior modelers and other team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

• Project Management:

  Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Documentation:

  Prepare and maintain project documentation, including model standards, workflows, and reports on model progress.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related inquiries, facilitating effective communication among project teams, clients, and contractors.

• Training & Development:

  Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and trends; conduct training sessions for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination, specifically within the MEP discipline.
• Proficient in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; experience with other modeling tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
