Senior BIM Coordinator

Role Overview: As a Senior BIM Coordinator at Ramboll in India, you will be joining a world-class Engineering Design Centre located in Gurgaon. Your role will involve ensuring the implementation of digital requirements, coordinating with project members, managing digital requirements of projects, and quality-assuring digital processes. You will collaborate with the BIM strategist to drive projects forward efficiently and support various discipline model coordinators. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing digital and data/metadata requirements of projects, ensuring efficient information management, and facilitating communication within the project team. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with digital requirements and processes - Coordinate with project members - Manage project's digital requirements - Work according to the Digital Delivery Plan (BIM Execution Plan) - Quality-assure digital processes - Assist the BIM strategist in project advancement with a focus on information management - Support discipline model coordinators - Oversee project's digital and data/metadata requirements, including client data and CAD needs - Collaborate with project managers to control information exchange and deliverables related to digital design - Ensure and monitor digital information delivery and control, focusing on metadata - Provide technical/data answers and communicate them to the project team - Identify skills and training needs of team members and communicate them to Department Manager/Team Lead Qualifications: - BE/B. Tech degree in Engineering from a reputable institute or equivalent - 4 to 10 years of experience in Infrastructure/Transport market - Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Infraworks, NavisWorks - Knowledge of shared project software like Filery/ Projectwise/ BIM360/ Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/ Chaos/ Server/ Folder structure/Chaos Desktop and Client DMS - Previous experience in data coordination for complex projects - Good communication skills and ability to present work effectively - Team player capable of coordinating with team members and project manager for timely project delivery - Professional proficiency in English language (written and verbal),
