Senior Big Data Developer - ETL

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Kudu, and HBase.
• Implement ETL/ELT workflows and ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Work closely with Data Architects and Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, tune performance, and automate data operations.
• Contribute to best practices and mentor junior developers.
  

Primary Skills & Technologies

• Core Big Data Technologies : Hadoop, Spark, Kudu, HBase
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• Expertise in distributed computing, performance tuning, and big data query optimization.
• Familiarity with Impala or similar query engines.
• Preferred : Knowledge or hands-on experience with Ericsson Wallet Platform.
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Big Data development, with at least 3+ years in Hadoop/Spark ecosystems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with focus on quality and performance.
• Experience in telecom or financial services domains is a plus
