Role Overview: As a Business Intelligence (BI) professional with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for formulating automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools. Your role involves understanding business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications and designing data models that transform raw data into insightful knowledge. You should have a foundational understanding of database concepts such as relational database architecture and Data Warehouse to excel in this role. Additionally, you will be developing Power BI desktop to create dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports while actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and providing 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools. - Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. - Be familiar with T-SQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX. - Design data models that transform raw data into insightful knowledge by understanding business requirements in the context of BI. - Develop Power BI desktop to create dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports. - Establish row-level security on data and comprehend Power BI's application security layer models. - Manage Power BI Admin tasks such as scheduling, workspace management, user access management, and security. - Utilize your experience in any ETL tool and hands-on experience in SAP BO reporting tool to enhance reporting capabilities. - Actively seek opportunities to improve processes and provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems. Qualification Required: - 10+ years' experience with BI. - Experience in T-SQL, Performance Tuning, and ETL (SAP BODS preferred, but any ETL tool is fine). - 3+ years' experience in Power BI. - 2+ years' experience in SAP BO (optional).
