Senior BI Analyst

As a Senior BI Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets, building insightful dashboards, and generating actionable business insights. Your expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and business intelligence will be utilized to work closely with stakeholders from various sectors such as FMCG, E-commerce, etc. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - Understand the business needs and objectives of clients from different sectors. - Collaborate with external (clients) and internal (data science and data engineering teams) stakeholders to comprehend data content and context. - Develop dashboards to drive insights and convey visual stories effectively. - Gather, prepare, and create visual models of business data on BI platforms like Microsoft Power BI to enable actionable insights for decision-makers. - Coordinate with data engineering, data science, and business users to track business KPIs accurately. - Present results and business impacts of insights to stakeholders within and outside the organization. - Foster a culture of analytics within the organization to promote growth and meritocracy. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in a BI Specialist role. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. - Strong communication skills and an understanding of clients" business needs and objectives. - Proficiency in dashboarding tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI, to derive insights from data. - Solid experience in data analysis, filtering, cleansing, wrangling, and reporting within a business context. - Proficiency in Excel, R, Python, and SQL is essential. - Knowledge of machine learning & statistical techniques is a plus. - Strong problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
