Senior Backend Engineer

Develop new or migrate existing web applications to a modern technology stack like React, TypeScript, Java Spring, and its ecosystems. Design, document, develop, and test reusable code for future use. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality, testable code. Optimize code for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the software being developed, visuals, and user experience. Ensure that the team stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, utilizing best practices. Assist in developing collaterals for clients and internal stakeholders for various reporting, presentation, and training needs. Technical/Functional Competencies Minimum 7+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Solid understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and its ecosystem. Hands-on experience required on Spring MVC, Data, STS, Batch, Integration, Oracle, MySQL, MyBatis ORM, etc Advanced knowledge of API development and API integration. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Open API, and GraphQL. Familiarity with build tools, such as Maven/Gradle. Knowledge of testing frameworks, such as JUnit 5, SQL Unit, Sonar, etc Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Experience with basic CI/CD, such as GitFlow, Github actions, Jenkins. Experience with SCRUM. Nice to have Experience with Front-end technologies, such as ReactJS, NodeJS, and its ecosystem. Understanding of containerization and deployment using tools like Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with cloud technology like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Educational Qualification Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
