Senior Backend Developer-JAVA

As a Senior Backend Engineer at a NASDAQ-listed global leader in the food & beverage sector, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable, modular backend systems for a greenfield project. Working with a highly autonomous and talented team, you will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to create future-proof platforms from scratch. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java (SpringBoot). - Design and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs. - Lead backend integration with NoSQL databases and Azure cloud services. - Contribute to PoC development, system design, and documentation. - Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for seamless feature delivery. - Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are maintained. Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of backend engineering experience. - 6+ years of hands-on expertise in SpringBoot & Java development. - 3+ years working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). - 2+ years of practical experience in GraphQL. - 2+ years of Azure cloud exposure (App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.). - Proven track record in building modular, reusable APIs. - Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats. - Must be based in or willing to work from Hyderabad in a hybrid model. In this role, you will have a 5-hour mandatory overlap with IST (India Standard Time) and work in a hybrid setup, which includes partial remote work and partial onsite work in Hyderabad following a US shift schedule.
