Senior Backend Developer (Golang)

Role Overview: Pocketful, the Fintech broking platform, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer proficient in Golang. As part of the highly skilled and innovative team, you will have the opportunity to work on disruptive fintech products and be involved in building scalable and reliable systems from the ground up. You will collaborate with the CTO and Founders, contribute to product strategy, and work on various infrastructure layers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in MongoDB, strong computer science knowledge, and familiarity with Agile development and modern testing methodologies. Thinking creatively to solve problems at scale and adapting to changing technical environments will be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development and building scalable products - Design and develop highly scalable and reliable systems end-to-end - Collaborate with the CTO and Founders, and contribute to product strategy - Work on various layers of infrastructure for in-house products - Proficiency in MongoDB and expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design - Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, modern testing methodologies, and Rest APIs - Think creatively to solve problems and adapt to changing technical stack - Bonus points for working knowledge of SQL database, AWS, and interest in the financial/stock market space Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of work experience in backend development & building scalable products - Proficiency in Golang, with strong Java/C++/Python skills and good understanding of DSA - Expert knowledge of computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design - Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, and modern testing methodologies - Proficiency in MongoDB - Ability to think creatively to solve problems at scale and adapt to changing technical environments - Bonus points for working knowledge of SQL database and AWS, along with interest in the financial/stock market space.,
