Senior Backend Developer (Golang)

As a Senior Backend Developer at Pocketful (Fintech Division of Pace), your role will involve working on a disruptive platform aimed at making financial markets accessible for all. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly-skilled, young, and hungry team of professionals. Here are the key responsibilities for this position: - Minimum 5 years of work experience in backend development & building scalable products. - Design and develop highly scalable and reliable systems end-to-end for category-creating fintech products. - Work directly with the CTO and Founders, and actively contribute to the product strategy. - Collaborate with other engineers and developers on various layers of the infrastructure using Golang, Java, C++, Python, and MongoDB. - Utilize your expert knowledge of computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Implement Agile development practices, continuous integration, and modern testing methodologies. - Demonstrate proficiency in working with Rest APIs and think out-of-the-box while solving problems in a changing environment. - Bonus Points: Working knowledge of SQL databases, AWS, and interest in the financial/stock market space.
