Backend Developer

• Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Develop and work with RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between the server and clients.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance.
• Review and debug code to enhance functionality, usability, and performance of our applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to find opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with the Django framework.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and experience in database design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
