Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Python and Django. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Develop and work with RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between the server and clients. Manage PostgreSQL databases, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance. Review and debug code to enhance functionality, usability, and performance of our applications. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement effective solutions. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to find opportunities for innovation and improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects. Proficiency in Python and experience with the Django framework. Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and experience in database design and optimization. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
