Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Azure Data Engineer

with cloud data and analytics platforms, including a strong focus on

Azure cloud services and IoT streaming data

. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and high availability. You ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and platform engineers to drive innovative, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines in the Azure cloud environment
Develop and implement strategies for processing and analyzing large volumes of IoT and unstructured streaming data
Build scalable and secure data solutions using Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Functions, Cosmos DB, and Event Hubs
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to deliver insights-driven data models and pipelines
Optimize and tune data workflows for high performance and scalability
Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks across data pipelines
Support CI/CD, automation, and DevOps/DataOps practices
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the team

Required Skills:

Cloud Platforms and Tools:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud analytical tools including:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics (including Serverless SQL Pools)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Blob Storage
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure Event Hubs
Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus

Data Engineering and Analytics:

5+ years of experience with data and analytics concepts such as:
- ETL/ELT
- SQL development
- Data warehousing
- Reporting and visualization
