Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, along with strong administration skills in both Linux and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable cloud solutions and ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments. • Administer and support both Linux and Windows virtual machines and related services on Azure. • Implement and manage Azure networking services (VNETs, NSGs, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers). • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI or Terraform. • Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and respond to incidents and alerts. • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans in the cloud. • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure seamless cloud operations. • Optimize resources for performance and cost-effectiveness using Azure Advisor and cost management tools. • Patch, update, and harden both Linux and Windows servers regularly. • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years on Microsoft Azure. • Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration. • Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Monitor, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Log Analytics. • Expertise in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI). • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps preferred). • Understanding of cloud security best practices and governance. • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are highly desirable" If Interested share resume : sowmya.v@acesoftlabs.com
