Senior Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience and a BTech degree, your role will involve developing a firm understanding of system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to define test automation approaches, preparing and executing tests (including automated tests), and reporting progress. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with Development, BA, and Product Owners to understand testing objectives - Plan test processes, design, and document test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and test reports - Develop and execute software test plans, maintain documentation of test results, and analyze results for corrective actions - Review Test plans, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Metrics - Identify and improve testing practices in collaboration with other team members - Stay updated on new software technologies/processes in the industry and implement relevant ones - Design, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions Experience Required: - Minimum 3 years of proven experience in multiple software engineering and test methodologies - Expertise in identifying test scenarios and developing test cases - Experience in test process definition and implementation - Proficiency in Scope Definition, Control, Estimation, Scheduling, and Task allocation - Domain knowledge in Investment Banking/Wealth Management is an added advantage Technical/Functional Skills: - Solid understanding of web technologies, including Java, and browser debugging tools - Experience with Web Automation Testing tools like Selenium - Focus on Quality (Black-box, White-box, Code Coverage, Performance, Automation) - Experience with API testing, preferably using REST web services is preferred Location: Trivandrum Tech Stack: Selenium Webdriver, Java, API testing If you have any additional details about the company, please provide them for inclusion in the job description.
