Senior Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience, your role will involve developing a firm understanding of system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to define test automation approaches, preparing and executing tests (including automated tests), and providing progress reports. You will work closely with Development, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to comprehend testing objectives. Your responsibilities will include planning test processes, designing and documenting test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Additionally, you will develop and execute software test plans, maintain documentation of test results, analyze results, and suggest corrective actions. Reviewing test plans, test cases, test data, and test metrics will be part of your routine, along with collaborating with team members to enhance testing practices. You will stay updated on new software technologies and processes in the industry, implementing those that align with the organization. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in various software engineering and test methodologies, with expertise in identifying test scenarios and developing test cases. Experience in test process definition and implementation, scope definition, control, estimation, scheduling, and task allocation is preferred. Domain knowledge in Investment Banking/Wealth Management is considered advantageous. You should possess a strong understanding of web technologies such as Java, browser debugging tools, and experience with Web Automation Testing tools like Selenium. A focus on quality in terms of Black-box, White-box, Code Coverage, Performance, and Automation is essential. Experience with API testing, particularly using REST web services, is a plus.,
