About the Role

Senior Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• To design and develop an automation framework in

  Playwright

  from scratch.
• To define, implement, and enforce

  best practices

  in automation testing.
• To collaborate with developers, business analysts, and manual testers for end-to-end quality assurance.
• To mentor and guide the QA team in writing clean, reusable, and maintainable test scripts.
• To integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• To perform functional, regression, and integration testing using the developed framework.
• To analyze automation test results, troubleshoot failures, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least

  2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright

  .
• Strong expertise in

  framework design and implementation

  for test automation.
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks for web applications.
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  (mandatory for Playwright automation).
• Good understanding of

  test design techniques, QA processes, and agile methodologies

  .
• Experience integrating automation scripts with

  CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)

  .
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to

  lead and mentor

  junior QA team members.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Playwright API testing).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Experience working in client-facing roles.
