Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. You should have 5+ years of experience in Java-based test automation, Selenium, API testing, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Your attention to detail and passion for automation will be key in delivering bug-free software. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. - Create and execute API test cases using tools like Postman or Rest Assured. - Implement and maintain BDD test scripts using Cucumber in collaboration with developers and business analysts. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality. - Identify test requirements, create detailed test plans, and write reusable automation scripts. - Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience in Java programming for test automation. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. - Proficient in API testing (RESTful services). - Experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber. - Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). - Working knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
