Job Description

Validate trade bookings against trade confirmations (internal system vs broker/counterparty).
Ensure trade economics (price, quantity, settlement date, counterparty, fees) are accurate. Capture/amend trades in front-to-back systems.Match trades with counterparties via platformsResolve discrepancies in trade details (e.g., price, quantity, ISIN, counterparty). Send/receive trade confirmations and ensure timely affirmation.Generate settlement instructions (SSIs) for counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, clearinghouses.Validate standing settlement instructions (SSIs) in global databases.Monitor failed trades and mismatched instructions.Ensure availability of cash/securities for settlement.Coordinate with treasury teams for funding requirements.Instruct custodians/prime brokers for delivery vs payment (DVP) or free of payment (FOP). Monitor settlement status in depository systems (e.g., Euroclear, DTC, NSCC).
