Senior Associate - Technical

As an IT professional at Lincoln Electric in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure encompassing LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networking components. - Operating and maintaining secure, resilient network systems using industry best practices and modern technologies. - Leading or contributing to network integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, including design, procurement, and deployment. - Managing and optimizing SD-WAN environments to balance performance, cost, and security. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure seamless integration with other IT systems. - Implementing and maintaining network security controls, including firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), VPNs, and segmentation strategies. - Driving automation and scripting initiatives to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks. - Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and proactively identifying areas for improvement. - Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. - Participating in an on-call rotation and providing support during off-hours as necessary. - Staying current with emerging technologies and recommending improvements to enhance network capabilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience. - 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and support. - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless). - Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and/or Prisma cloud services is a plus. - Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting). - Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments. - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex network issues. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, AWS/Azure Networking) are a plus.,
