eCommerce Senior Associate - Shopify Position Description We are seeking a talented Senior Associate who is looking for an opportunity to showcase their talent in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. You will work with clients and our in-house team to develop cloud-based omnichannel eCommerce solutions primarily focusing on Shopify Plus. Show us your talent by sending a link to your portfolio or examples of recent work! Responsibilities: Create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per pre-defined brand guidelines. Work with the UX and UI Design Teams to create unique, strong, and inventive front-end user experiences. Design and build cutting-edge websites and web based applications for B2B and B2C Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) required Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify, ideally working on Shopify Plus Experience in developing custom themes and apps using the Shopify ecosystem. Experience in developing Shopify Extensions (customer account , Checkout) using the Shopify Remix Good understanding of the Shopify apps ecosystem Experience and interest in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries Exhibits a sense of urgency when dealing with break fix issues that directly impact end user utilization Able to efficiently and effectively manage problem solving activities either in a team format or individually; must be able to communicate with diverse groups of users and developers Exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of coding/application design best practices Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing on a modern eCommerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify) Experience with web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript experience preferred Experience with React, Typescript, Remix, Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5, SASS, and GitHub preferred Familiarity with Responsive Web Design and Mobile application development is a plus At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
