Senior Associate | Direct Tax

As a member of the team at Macquarie, you will be responsible for focusing on direct tax compliances, accounting, and reporting requirements in the Asia region, with a primary focus on Singapore. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare, review, and file direct tax returns - Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and compliance deadlines - Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration - Enhance services, processes, and systems using your expertise - Stay updated on tax requirements and changes in tax laws Qualifications required for this role include: - Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (November 2024 batch) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a global and virtual team - Experience with tax reporting and financial systems - Background with big 4 tax firms and experience in taxation within a shared services environment or financial services are advantageous At Macquarie, our advantage lies in bringing together diverse individuals and empowering them to explore various possibilities.
