About The Role

Role Description:

The Sr Associate Data Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, data engineers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.You will play a key role in enabling Amgen's Process Development team to further unlock the potential of computational modeling and simulation to advance Amgen's molecule pipelines. You will help to enable right first-time tech transfers and deliver against pipeline milestones. You will drive further lifecycle enhancements to build competency and further increase expertise across the Model Asset Commons development value stream.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Data translation and visual storytelling transforming complex, raw datasets into clear, interactive, and insightful visual representations.
• Work closely with: Data engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for visualization and Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business questions into visual requirements
• Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
• Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements
• Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues
• Customize modules to meet specific business requirements
• Work on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations
• Apply best practices in accessibility and usability, including color-blind friendly palettes and responsive design
