Senior Application Security Engineer

As a Senior Application Security Engineer at Cumulus Systems Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's application security functions and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing integration with vulnerability check tools like Static Code Analysis, Dynamic Code Analysis, and Software Composition Analysis tools. - Identifying security exposures, developing mitigation plans, and addressing technical debt. - Actively participating in security initiatives with minimal supervision. - Adhering to security best practices in all tasks. - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, DevSecOps, and Product teams on a daily basis. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and Software Composition Analysis for web applications. - Deep understanding of Linux OS, network security, and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP protocols). - Familiarity with common application security vulnerabilities, security controls, and best practices. - Ability to analyze and assess discovered vulnerabilities and provide recommendations. - Knowledge of security aspects in Kubernetes environments. - Possession of security certifications would be advantageous. - Development experience or scripting skills would be a plus. In addition to the technical skills, you are required to have 2 to 5 years of experience and a full-time B.E./B.Tech (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years), PG-DITISS, or Post Graduation in Cyber Security.
