Senior Android Application Developer

As an Android developer at the company, your role will involve the development and maintenance of a Social Networking Application for a wide range of Android mobile devices. You will collaborate with other engineers to create high-quality products by integrating Android applications with back-end services. Responsibilities: - Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code - Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application - Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs - Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation - Implement best practices in code implementation - Willingness to work across flexible time zones if necessary Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of Android SDK, various Android versions, and handling different screen sizes - Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services - Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Experience in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Ability to create applications with natural user interfaces and touch interactions - Understanding of additional sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers (preferred) - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and common task libraries - Translating business requirements into technical specifications - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications - Skill in benchmarking and optimization - Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines - Proficient in code versioning tools like Git - Experience with continuous integration - Proficiency in Chat (one-to-one, group chat, file sharing) - Knowledge of Google Maps APIs is advantageous The company is located in Noida, UP.
