Job Description:

To lead and contribute to a team supporting

European Private Equity client across Business

Operations, Portfolio Management, and Market

Intelligence, while driving strategic project

initiatives within these domains.

Job Requirements:

Domain skills:

1. Should have prior relevant experience in

Management Reporting or Corporate

/Operational Finance functions; Report

Writing and Financial / Market Research

experience preferred.

2. Ability to read, interpret and analyze financial

statements to derive meaningful insights.

3. Proficiency in understanding investment

management business (PE) operations

4. Ability to understand and interpret macro-

economic trends, industry sector dynamics,

and company-level operating models to

support the development of research reports.

Technical / Soft skills

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS

Word, and MS PowerPoint; and VBA

Programming is a plus.

Exposure to any business software

applications such as SAP, Business Dynamics,

and QlikView among others.

Sound written and verbal communication

skills, along with excellent interpersonal and

presentation abilities.

Experience in building dashboards using data

visualization tools (preferably using Power BI,

with end-to-end experience from base data

handling to building bespoke dashboards)

Others:

Ability to work independently and

collaboratively within the team.

Proven ability to work effectively and

consistently to meet stakeholder's

(Management / Client) expectations.

Taking complete ownership of tasks and

maintaining a clear focus to meet

requirements without errors or oversights

Key Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives across multiple project areas within the engagement (both regular and ad-hoc) as listed below: 1. Validation of portfolio companies financial data (for any discrepancy or others) Income statement, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow statement 2. Analysis of company financials (variance analysis or other insights) and write commentary with reasons on any movement in earnings/revenue by reading supplementary documents. 3. Creating/maintaining/producing different analytical monthly packs for the client business to support their decision making in the core areas of business 4. Coordinating with various teams (client and Infosys project) to obtain accurate information on time and communicating on a constant basis with client team on the status of tasks being handled. 5. Analyze/research investment management business industry/market (trends and competition landscape) 6. Generating regular and ad-hoc analytical reports based on client/team requests. 7. Improving existing reports, and proactively collaboratinwith team members and stakeholders to consistently deliver added value 8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the broader project group in special initiatives Other requirements Valid passport Willingness to work from Infosys office in Bengaluru. Immediate joiner preferred.
