Senior Analyst, Engineering and R&D Systems

As an IT CAD Applications specialist at Pall Corporation, you will play a crucial role in enabling efficient and scalable PLM solutions for the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to automate and streamline operational processes, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of applications on the Autodesk Fusion platform. - Map workflows and merge data from sources such as Lotus Notes, SharePoint, and other engineering applications into Autodesk Vault, Windchill, or Fusion Manage to ensure seamless data migration and integration. This involves understanding existing workflows, mapping to target system workflows, and executing data migration plans for data integrity and consistency. Utilize tools like CoolOrange Powerload, Autodesk DTU tool, or other merge tools for database merge activities. - Create and validate CAD Applications deployment and removal scripts (SCCM/Company Portal) for tools like Catia, Inventor, AutoCAD, Windchill, Vault, ensuring thorough testing and validation for seamless integration and functionality. - Deploy application upgrades and remove legacy versions of various CAD tools and PLM systems (PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault) to ensure a clean and efficient transition to new versions and minimize disruptions to operations. - Perform server maintenance tasks and manage access groups for secure and efficient system operations. - Utilize ServiceNow to support the CAD and PDM user community. The essential requirements for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in mapping workflows and merging data from various sources like Lotus Notes to Autodesk Vault or Fusion Manage for seamless data migration and integration. - Proficiency in using tools such as CoolOrange Powerload, Autodesk DTU tool for database merge activities. - Experience in creating and validating CAD and Simulation Analysis tool deployment scripts for tools like ANSYS, Catia, Inventor, AutoCAD, ensuring thorough testing and validation for seamless integration and functionality. - Experience in deploying and removing legacy versions of CAD tools and PLM systems to ensure a clean and efficient transition to new versions and minimize disruptions to operations.
