Senior Adobe Cold Fusion Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Adobe ColdFusion. Design, code, test, and debug applications to meet functional requirements. Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle to manage data integration and queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and deliver technical solutions. Develop RESTful APIs, web services, and integrate third-party tools as needed. Manage application performance optimization, code refactoring, and system upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Provide production support and maintain high system availability during USA business hours. Document technical specifications, application logic, and system configurations. Required Skills: Strong experience in Adobe ColdFusion development (4+ years). Expertise in SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle for database management. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services. Solid understanding of MVC frameworks and application architecture. Familiarity with ColdFusion Components (CFCs) and CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language). Experience with version control systems such as Git. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and provide proactive support during USA business hours. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Exposure to Agile development practices.
