Senior Accounts Payable

You are invited to join Wellversed as an Accountant with expertise in operating Tally, Excel, and Google Sheets. Your main responsibility will revolve around maintaining purchase, sales, and stock data using Tally PRIME. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a good understanding of GST filing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of returns, and reconciling GST data. - Proficiently handling TDS filing to comply with regulations, ensuring accurate deduction and remittance of taxes. - Conducting GST reconciliation to guarantee consistency and accuracy in financial records. - Preparing and reporting quarterly financial statements following accounting standards and company policies. - Displaying knowledge of due diligence processes and assisting in related activities when necessary. - Providing support in statutory audit procedures in adherence to the Companies Act 2013, including preparing audit schedules and documentation. - Accurately inputting and maintaining financial transactions in Tally, such as sales, expenses, and stock data. - Ensuring all Tally entries are up-to-date and compliant with accounting standards and company policies. - Assisting in reconciling Tally data with supporting documentation. - Inputting and organizing financial and accounting data in Excel spreadsheets and other data sheets. - Performing routine data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy. - Maintaining well-organized records of financial transactions and Tally entries. - Generating ad-hoc reports to address various business needs.
