Senior Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

• Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Oversee patient billing, insurance claims processing, and revenue cycle management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions in accordance with hospital policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and ensure proper documentation.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide necessary training or guidance.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and assist in financial planning for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments such as Billing, Pharmacy, and Purchase to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.

Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).

• Experience:

  Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a hospital or healthcare setup.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, hospital billing systems, and healthcare financial practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with healthcare-related statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, etc.).
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This is a full-time role based in our new state of art hospital at Thanisandra, Bengaluru.
