Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in civil construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting project budgeting and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and project budgets.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers for financial planning and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses and vendor payments.
• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on receivables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 45 years of accounting experience,

  specifically in civil work and infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts finalization, including preparation of financial statements such as balance sheet, profit & loss account, cash flow statement etc.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of ledger scrutiny, journal entries, trial balance, book keeping, general accounting tasks.
  
• Conduct thorough checks on all financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to finances.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to high ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4 to 5- years of experience in accountancy with expertise in Tally ERP, Excel, Journal Book, Ledger Scrutiny, Finalization.
  
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and regulations; ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day operations.
  
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing complex financial data; attention to detail is essential.
