Finance Associate – Revenue Accounting

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Associate – Revenue Accounting to join our Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including sales invoicing, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable management, customer ledger scrutiny, and revenue reporting.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally ERP and Advanced MS Excel, along with a good understanding of GST and revenue accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Invoicing & Billing

• Generate and issue accurate sales invoices to clients within defined timelines.
• Ensure correct application of GST, discounts, and pricing as per customer agreements.
• Prepare and manage credit notes and debit notes for sales adjustments.

2. Bank & Debtors Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliation (BRS) and match customer payments against outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile high-volume transactions received through payment gateways and banks with accounting records.
• Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable (Debtors) reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts and outstanding balances.

3. Tally ERP Management

• Record revenue-related transactions, including sales, receipts, and discounts allowed, in Tally ERP.
• Maintain and review customer ledgers to ensure accurate accounting classifications.
• Generate Party Ledger Summaries and Receivables Reports for management review.

4. Advanced Excel & Revenue Reporting

• Use Advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS, to analyse large volumes of financial data.
• Maintain revenue tracking reports covering realised and unrealised revenue.
• Prepare weekly revenue dashboards highlighting collection efficiency and outstanding receivables.
• Support management with periodic revenue reports and financial data analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce B.Com or Finance.
• MBA Finance / Semi-Qualified CA candidates will be preferred.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Revenue Accounting.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
• Good understanding of GST on outward supplies.
• Practical knowledge of bank reconciliation, debtor reconciliation, invoicing, and receivables management.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
