Job Description – Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Department: Accounts & Finance
Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and vouchers.
Prepare and maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, and filing.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
Prepare salary statements and coordinate with the HR team for payroll-related accounting.
Handle vendor payments, invoice verification, and expense tracking.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and other departments.
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Assist management with financial reports and accounting-related decisions.
