Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Corporate Accounting: Manage corporate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger management, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) and ensure compliance with accounting standards. System Management: Ensure effective use of accounting software and financial systems. Proficiency in Income Tax and GST, ensuring timely filing of returns and compliance with statutory requirements. Fundamental understanding of Company Law and its applications. Manage audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Handle tax planning and ensure adherence to direct and indirect tax laws. Multi-company Accounting Experience: Manage financial operations across multiple entities within the organization. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Fund Accounting: Oversee and manage fund-based accounting activities. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as required. Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes. Technology: Stay updated with advancements in accounting technologies and implement relevant financial tools for efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 10 -15 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry. Strong knowledge of Income Tax , GST, and other statutory compliances . Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
