Role Overview

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Management:

  Ensure timely filing and management of GST, Income Tax, ROC, ESI, PF, and other statutory obligations. Handle banking and loan-related compliances.

• Coordination:

  Act as a key point of contact with Chartered Accountant, banks, lawyers, and government authorities. Collaborate effectively with internal teams for smooth operations.

• Accounting & Closures:

  Manage end-to-end accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.

• Documentation & Communication:

  Draft and handle official correspondence with authorities and consultants. Maintain proper records for audits and inspections.

• Systems & Tools:

  Proficiently manage accounts in

  Tally ERP

  ; capable of handling

  Tally administrative rights

  (user creation, access controls, backup/restore); prepare reports and analysis using

  MS Excel

  ; draft and format professional documents using

  MS Word

  .

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience

  in accounting and compliance, preferably in manufacturing/trading sector.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate compliances.
• Hands-on experience with

  Tally ERP

  and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) for effective correspondence with officials.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
