Senior Account Manager - PR (Financial Services) HYBRID FULL-TIME

Role Overview: At Edelman, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will play a key role in developing integrated programs for financial services clients. As a leader-in-the-making, you will be responsible for setting strategy, driving work forward with clients, and supervising account work performed by junior staff. You will partner with some of the brightest professionals in the industry and be challenged to push the boundaries of creativity to drive consumer behavior in today's digitally charged environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop key messages aligned with clients" objectives - Utilize key client information to create high-quality communications content - Serve as the daily client contact and lead on specific workstreams - Pitch client stories, manage media relationships, and conduct ongoing proactive news bureau activities - Build relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners - Supervise junior staff to ensure quality and consistency in work products Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of PR & Communications experience - Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, or related field - Expertise in the financial services sector from a communications perspective is highly desirable - Strong media relations skills with key publications focused on the BFSI segment - Experience in guiding junior employees and strong project management skills - Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and cooperation skills - Proficiency in content development including drafting press releases, media alerts, articles, and features Additional Company Details: Edelman offers an opportunity for personal growth and development of skills in a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive culture that celebrates diversity.
