Senior Account Manager - PR (Financial Services)

As a Senior Account Manager at Edelman, you will play a key role in developing integrated programs for financial services clients, focusing on earned media, influencer relations, digital content, and social media. Your responsibilities will include running day-to-day operations on key accounts, fostering creativity, and encouraging junior team members to generate engaging concepts. You will collaborate with experienced professionals in corporate reputation, social purpose, brand marketing, employee experience, digital influencers, and creative strategy. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** - Develop key messages aligned with clients" objectives - Utilize client information for strategic communication, incorporating industry trends, products/services, and competitor analysis - Write, edit, and proofread high-quality internal and external communications content - Serve as the main client contact and lead specific workstreams - Pitch client stories, manage media relationships, and conduct proactive news bureau activities - Create messaging, press materials, social media content, and other communication documents - Foster relationships with influencers and internal partners to meet client needs - Supervise junior staff, ensuring quality and growth within the organization **Knowledge & Skills:** - 6+ years of PR & Communications experience - Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, or related field - Expertise in the financial services sector from a communications perspective - Client-facing experience with strong media relations in the BFSI segment - Proficient project management skills - Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and cooperate - Strong content development skills, including press releases, articles, and features At Edelman, you will have the opportunity to work with industry experts, receive personal growth, training, and skill development.
