Role Overview: As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for ensuring digital accessibility standards compliance for web and mobile applications. Your role will involve conducting manual and automated accessibility testing, creating detailed test cases, and collaborating with developers, designers, and product teams to address accessibility issues. Key Responsibilities: - Possess strong knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0/2.1, Section 508, and ADA compliance. - Conduct accessibility testing using tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, and Pa11y. - Perform manual accessibility testing including keyboard navigation and assistive technology compatibility. - Test web and mobile applications across various browsers and platforms like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, and Android. - Understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of accessibility. - Develop and execute detailed accessibility test cases and provide clear defect reports. - Utilize bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Bugzilla. - Demonstrate good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Required: - Experience in accessibility testing and familiarity with accessibility standards. - Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools and conducting manual testing. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various browsers/platforms. - Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and communicate effectively with teams. - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
