Senior ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Development

• Design, develop, and enhance custom objects using ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDPs, and BOPF.
• Work on enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, workflows, and performance tuning.
• Support S/4HANA-specific developments and modern ABAP practices.

SAP BTP

• Build and deploy applications using SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, CAPM, RAP, UI5, BAS).
• Develop extensions for S/4HANA using BTP Extension Suite.
• Integrate SAP systems with BTP services using APIs and OData.

Ariba CIG Integration

• Configure and support Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) for upstream and downstream modules.
• Map, transform, and validate documents between S/4HANA/ECC and Ariba.
• Troubleshoot CIG transaction failures and coordinate with Ariba support teams.
• Implement integration scenarios such as PO, PR, Invoices, ASN, and Supplier Lifecycle processes.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and integration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with

  SAP BTP development

  (CAPM/RAP/UI5 preferred).
• Proven experience working on

  Ariba CIG implementation or support projects

  .
• Good understanding of Ariba procurement processes (nice to have).
• Strong debugging, problem solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) experience.
• Exposure to S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.
• Knowledge of Clean Core extensibility.
