As a Semi Qualified Assistant at B. Purushottam & Co., an Indian-based firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Madurai, your primary responsibility will be to assist in audits, prepare financial statements, handle taxation matters, and conduct financial analysis. Working closely with senior accountants and team members, you will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge in Auditing and Financial Statements preparation, experience in handling Taxation matters and compliance, skills in Financial Analysis and Reporting, proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Office suite, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally, you should have relevant work experience in an accounting firm, hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and have passed CA/ICMA intermediate level of examination.
