We are looking for multi-skilled candidates for the position of Remote Sensing Trainee. For this position, the candidate needs to know about the vegetation indices (NDVI, NDRE, LSWI, GNDVI, FAPAR & VVVH) in remote sensing and those indices and polarization can be used for different types of applications. For example-: Crop loss assessment, Drought monitoring, flood zone detection, Crop Yield estimation. Responsibilities: · Crop Wise Sowing Area estimation, Crop loss assessment, Drought monitoring, flood zone detection, Crop Yield estimation. · Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various agricultural crops and other features. · Performing data munging and cleaning to convert data into its desired form. · Managing a digital library of geographic maps in various file types. Educational Qualification: · Must be a graduate/post-graduate in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Geography, or equivalent. · Post Graduate diploma/degree in Remote Sensing & GIS applications in agriculture.
