Seed Production Operations Lead-Asia

Job Description: As a member of the Seed Production & Seed Supply Management Team (GMT), you will contribute to defining the strategy for the department and executing actions in the Production Operations perimeter. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a Production Strategy as an integrated part of the Seed Supply Strategic Roadmap. You will also be tasked with managing the team of Home Farm Managers and Regional Production Managers throughout the production locations in the Region, in line with our management principles. Developing and implementing relevant management infrastructure to achieve the goals of Production Operations, including establishing KPIs, developing monitoring mechanisms, and continuous improvement, will be a key part of your role. You will be responsible for building the Production Operations budget OPCO and CAPEX for the established goals in the Region. The budget will need to be presented and validated by the VP Global Seed Production & Seed Supply, ensuring reliable Budget Control and avoiding uncontrolled deviations without approval. Additionally, you will need to ensure a homogenous and cohesive execution of protocols and procedures within the HM.CLAUSE Production perimeter in the Region, promoting best practices and sharing between regions and Home Farms. Being an active member of the Limagrain Vegetable Seeds (LVS) Production Forum and encouraging synergies for HM.CLAUSE and LVS aligned with the Strategic Roadmap will be part of your responsibilities. You will also need to develop and reinforce policies set by Management and ensure their application to all concerned sites. Managing reporting and follow-up on all site incidents, audits, and opportunities identified will also fall under your purview. Skills: We expect you to have supply chain experience/knowledge, preferably in the seed industry. International experience, particularly in Asia or abroad, will be advantageous, with Asia experience being a plus. Behaviors skills should include a high level of ethics and compliance, IP knowledge, ability to operate in a matrix organization, and being hands-on over operational tasks without losing sight of the bigger picture. You should be willing to travel periodically to our operations in Vietnam, China, and Thailand, as well as to our main office in Hyderabad, with at least 70% of the time in India and 30% abroad. Spending at least 50% of your time in the field, visiting production locations and remote areas, will also be required. This position may also involve an assignment lasting a minimum of 3 years.
