Security Operations Center Analyst

Position:

Role & responsibilities

• 3-5 Years Experience in working in high performing teams and understanding the dynamics of teamwork in global SOC environment.
• Ability to maintain analytical, accurate, targeted under pressure.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of incidents from reporting to resolution.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities for leveling up SOC capabilities, detection, response
• Comprehensive knowledge of the threat landscape, adversary techniques, techniques and procedures.
• Conduct and disseminate Incident Review/Lessons Learned sessions
• Review incident trends and make recommendations to improving security
• Identify, Triage, Resolve Security alerts
• Proactive Threat Hunting
• Collaborate and Ensure Coordinated Implementation of IR Detections and Response processes, procedures and documentation
• Provide recommendation in tunning and optimization of security systems, SOC security process, procedures, and policies.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats including applicable regulatory security requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, teammates and management

Preferred candidate profile

• Prior experience working in SOC Teams
• Preferred information security professional certifications such as CEH, ECSA, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GCIH
• Demonstrated skills in digital investigations like malware analysis, reverse engineering forensic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IT including multiple operating systems and system administration (Windows, Solaris, Unix)
• Strong knowledge on IPS/IDS, firewall, VPNs, Enterprise EDR and SOAR technologies.
• Understanding of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, bash, PowerShell.
• Candidate must be reliable and able to function as part of 24X7 rotating shift Operation Center on weekends and Holidays.
• WFH will be provided on Weekends and Holidays Only as part of 24X7 rotating shift Operation Center.
