Security Manager - Training

As a Security Manager - Training at SNV Aviation Ltd, your role involves ensuring the development and implementation of training programs and Avsec certification systems in alignment with the National Civil Aviation Security Program. Your responsibilities include: - Persons developing and/or conducting aviation security training must possess the necessary certification, knowledge, and experience as prescribed in the relevant Annexure of NCASTP. - Conduct aviation security training & emergency procedure training (theory & practical) for all SNV Aviation Ltd staff. - Ensure well-trained, competent, qualified, and efficient ground staff, security staff, cabin & cockpit crew at all times. - Maintain records/documents digitally/electronically as per NCASTP requirements. - Use appropriate training aids to facilitate effective learning. - Ensure accreditation of Aviation Security Training Institutions (ASTI) by DG, BCAS. - Monitor and ensure completion of required training for aviation security personnel. - Allocate sufficient financial resources for NCASTP compliance. - Implement an ongoing internal training program for staff. - Promote individual responsibility for security through security awareness training. - Instruct personnel in modern security practices and equipment. - Ensure a consistent and uniform approach to teaching aviation security subjects. - Coordinate training requirements with stations and other ASTI, BCAS & OAL. - Prepare training notes and handouts in advance for various courses. - Coordinate training MIS with regulatory bodies for compliance. - Assume ASTI head functions in the absence of ASTI Head. In addition to the key responsibilities, the required skills and experience for this position include: - 6 to 8 years of aviation security experience with at least 2 years in a managerial grade handling ASTI. - Certified Avsec Instructor/Valid AVSEC Instructor Certification. - Extensive knowledge and experience in aviation security operations. - Knowledge in various areas of aviation security regulations, systems, procedures, and emergency protocols. It is preferred that you possess a Graduate degree from a recognized university. The location for this position is Gurugram.
