Job Location

Position Summary:

The Security Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the security of Amla

Commerces infrastructure and systems. This role involves configuring,

managing, and monitoring firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems

(IDS/IPS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. The

Security Consultant will conduct regular security assessments, manage

vulnerabilities, lead incident response efforts, and collaborate with internal

teams to strengthen the security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Firewall, IDS/IPS & SIEM Management: Configure, manage, and monitor

firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and Security

Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect, prevent, and

respond to security incidents.

• Security Assessments & Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular

security assessments, manage vulnerabilities, and execute remediation

activities to strengthen the overall security posture.

• Policy & Best Practices Development: Develop and implement security

policies, standards, and best practices to ensure a consistent and

secure operating environment.

• Incident Response: Analyze security incidents and lead incident

response efforts, working closely with internal teams to resolve and

mitigate threats.

• Technical Support & Guidance: Provide expert-level technical support

on network security solutions to internal teams and clients, ensuring

compliance and security architecture improvements.

• Reporting & Insights: Prepare security reports and provide insightful

recommendations to senior management on security incidents and the

organizations overall security posture.

• Collaboration with IT & Network Teams: Partner with IT and network

teams to ensure compliance with security requirements and drive

continuous improvement in security architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Security Consultant.
• Strong experience in managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Technical Skills:
• Firewall Technologies: In-depth knowledge of major firewall

technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point).

• Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS): Practical experience

with IDS/IPS tools and methodologies.

• Security Information & Event Management (SIEM): Proficiency with

leading SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, ArcSight).
