Security Architect

In your role at Swiss Re, you will be responsible for developing practical and versatile security requirements, architecture blueprints, and processes for the application and solution landscape in the public cloud environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing, advising on, and approving security concepts for various digital solutions across Swiss Re's IT landscape - Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within Swiss Re's architecture teams to drive long-term cloud adoption - Ensuring alignment of business domain architecture with group security requirements and providing feedback on domain-specific requirements to the Security Team - Overseeing and assuring that security requirements are established and implemented during application development and adhered to throughout the application life cycle - Advancing technical and organizational security competencies and adapting to emerging security trends As a part of the Security Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the security of Swiss Re's application landscape and providing security-related advice on IT projects within the company. Qualifications desired for this role include: - Passion, drive, and belief in the value of proper security architecture as a business performance enabler - Significant knowledge of major cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standard methods - Proactive attitude towards challenges and a track record of producing tangible results - Deep expertise in several cybersecurity areas, including cloud security architecture, cloud-native development, automated security processes on cloud platforms, cyber threats and mitigations, security frameworks, Microsoft Workplace and Office products, security standards in regulated environments, agile application development processes, and the ability to lead sophisticated conversations - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English - Nice-to-have qualifications: Microsoft, CISSP, CCSP, SANS GIAC, or similar certifications Swiss Re is a global leader in reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, dedicated to making the world more resilient.
