Job Description

As a member of the R&D Cybersecurity team at Dexcom Corporation, you will be part of a high-growth, fast-paced environment working with leading-edge software teams to ensure the security of modern diabetes medical device systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to represent cybersecurity and privacy compliance interests, facilitate security compliance questionnaires for vendors and partners, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001, ENS, and EU MDR throughout the product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include continuously analyzing newly released or revised regulations, standards, and guidance documents to identify compliance gaps, maintaining documents in support of continual compliance with standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure legal, compliance, and enterprise risk management interests are represented in the team's processes. Additionally, you will partner with subject matter experts to ensure well-documented risk mitigation activities. To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be a strong collaborator, have extensive experience and knowledge of external standards and regulations, demonstrate sharp problem-solving aptitude, and ideally have technical knowledge associated with cybersecurity and privacy standards within the Medical Device field or other regulated industries.
