Security and Access Management Specialist

As a Security and Access Management Specialist at Google, you will play a crucial role in implementing a multi-year strategy for Alphabet and the YouTube Business organization. Your responsibilities will involve working with various teams across YouTube and Google, including Product Management, Software Engineering, Central Security and Privacy, and Legal. By leveraging your technical expertise and investigative skills, you will be tasked with designing and executing security and access management programs. Your ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations with clear communication will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for project managing multiple streams of work to ensure the efficient implementation of compliance measures. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement security and access management programs. - Create frameworks, policies, and procedures to measure and report on security metrics, risks, and compliance. - Develop and implement control testing and manage issues and risk reporting. - Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. - Maintain playbooks and processes for the access management team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role. - 3 years of experience in IT Systems Audit, IT security, and working with stakeholders in a compliance setting. - Experience working with data and visualization tools such as SQL. - Experience working with a team to find resolutions, mitigate security, data privacy, and compliance-related risks. - Ability to communicate clearly, provide security briefings and debriefings, and deliver comprehensive written communications.
