Securities & Derivative Analyst

As a Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 at our company, your role will involve processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices to assist in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading, specifically for the FX business - Support lifecycle activities including Trade Aggregation, Allocation, Cancel Rebooks, Matching, and Rollovers, and collaborate with Business, Firms Clients, Operations, and Technology for post-execution issue management - Perform control functions based on intermediary processing systems and records - Complete daily tasks accurately and on time - Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations - Manage, escalate, and resolve requests, inquiries, issues, and errors, while identifying policy gaps - Willingness to cross-train across teams - Assist Team Lead in their duties as required - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications and Skills:** - 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; freshers are welcome - Fundamental understanding of FX products, trade lifecycle management, and operational risks - Team-oriented personality with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment - Self-motivated, flexible, and driven to succeed - Proven ability to handle multiple activities/projects in a high-risk environment - Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferred This role falls under the Operations - Transaction Services job family and specifically in the Securities and Derivatives Processing job family.
