The BDM will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include meeting sales targets, preparing sales reports, conducting market research, and collaborating with the marketing and product teams to create effective sales campaigns. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our growth initiatives. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling of automation and security solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets in automation, security, and BMS solutions. • Identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients including builders, developers, architects, consultants, corporates, and government institutions. • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. • Collaborate with the technical and project teams to prepare proposals, BOQs, tenders, and customized solutions. • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies. • Represent the company in industry forums, exhibitions, networking events, and associations (ISHRAE, FSAI, etc.). • Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and insights on business opportunities and performance. • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely support, quality service, and effective problem resolution. Candidate Profile Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation) or equivalent. • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Development (preferred). • 4–8 years of proven experience in business development/sales in automation, building technologies, security systems, or related industries. • Strong understanding of BMS, automation systems, IoT, fire & safety, energy management, and related technologies. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with a results-driven and target-oriented approach. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
